JUYUSHI MOSQUE
Explore Al-Juyushi Mausoleum which is located at the end of the Mukattam Hills road near a famous calf called Salah Salem, with a charming dome and a rectangular minaret located at the entrance to the Mausoleum, then you will find two rooms each located in the sides of the minaret, as well as a small courtyard, with the prayer hall and a Dome at the end of the building.
The Juyushi mosque, constructed by Prince Badr al-Jamali, was known in Arabic as "Emir of the armies", meaning Commander of the armies during the era of the Fatimid caliphate Al-Mustansir, the Mausoleum with its location over Al-Mukattam, has a great view of Cairo and the Citadel of Salah Al-Din, and this Mausoleum has been described as a Mashhad or shrine, and it is also once was overlooking the minor cemetery the (Qarafa) area.
