MOHAMED ALI PALACE

Muhammad Ali's Palace is a beautiful landmark in Egypt, located in Cairo and owned by Mohammed Ali Basha, founder of modern Egypt. Where he decided to build this palace in a remote location, far from the castle in a Cairo area called Shubra, The construction of this palace began in 1808 until it was completed in 1809, so it was also named Shubra Palace instead of Muhammad Ali Palace, and contains Islamic and European patterns in their design.


Therefore this palace is the first to be built in the Shubra neighborhood. The palace also features its exquisite design and decorations that highlight the Islamic and European models of that time. The palace also had only the remained parts such as the fountain of kiosks, the reception area and the basin in addition to an important part of this palace is the garden which contains a variety of colorful and rare flowers and plants.
