THE ROYAL CARRIAGE MUSEUM

It includes a collection of Muhammad Ali's family carriages borrowed from the main carriage museum in Boulaq.
The museum building differs from other buildings, with a horse bust on each window as if these horses were welcoming visitors to the museum.
The museum features a collection of eight carriages, including one used by Khedivi Ismail during the introductory ceremony of the Suez Canal in 1869.
You will find out a big carriage in the museum, which was used to welcome the kings and queens, who came from the other foreign countries for the introductory ceremony of the Suez Canal
There is also the golden state carriage that was given to the Khedive by Napoleon III.
King Ahmed Fouad Basha's wagon will also find Egypt's last monarch before the revolution, which he used for his personal trips.
Finally you will see an old carriage used by senior employees of the Egyptian government under the ruler Khedivi Ismail.
Also the museum is full of carriages, most date back to the Khedivi Ismail era.
