TOMBS OF THE NOBLES
With the White Bird Travel you will discover one of the most important monuments in Luxor, known as the Nobel Cemeteries. While the royal tombs were hidden away and isolated in the heart of the valley, this valley includes 500 tombs of the nobles, high officials and viziers were known.
As well as you visit Nobles Valley, you will find 400 Tombs belonging to Nobles from 6th Dynasty to the Greco-Roman period, you will be delighted with the beautiful daily life scenes of the Nobles on the painted on the walls of the tombs. The typical tomb chapel seems to consist of two parts; a rock cut chapel and an underground burial chamber.
Rekhmire Cemetery:
Explore one of the famous nobility cemeteries; Rekhmire was the vizier in the reign of Tuthmose III and Amenhotep II. The tomb has beautiful scenes of Rekhmire while inspecting the production of Metals, Bricks, Jewelry, Leather, Furniture and statuary.
Sennefer Cemetery:
The most interesting parts of the tomb are to be found underground, with the perfect scenes and paintings of the grapes and vines on the ceiling and vivid scenes of Sennefer with all the different women in his life. Sennefer was the overseer of Amun Gardens in the reign of Amenhotep II.
